In 2018 my wife and I were aggressively looking for a home in Hua Hin. We
searched for many months but could never find a reliable or trustworthy
construction company. Or a company who is flexible in designing a home that
met our needs. Knowing Thailand, the culture and quality of home building
craftsmanship since visiting Thailand continuously since 2004, it’s
extremely difficult to find a trustworthy contractor to build a home in
Thailand.
We came across Baan Phu Thara in a web search and were extremely impressed
with the presentation video describing the development, home layout,
building materials and the level of attention to detail that Thai Country
Homes put into building each home at Baan Phu Thara.
We immediately called Grahame to set up a date and time for us to visit Baan
Phu Thara. As we were outside of the country, we were on a very tight
timeline to visit the site and make a decision. As soon as we met with
Grahame, did a walk-through of the show house and of the development, we
immediately fell in love and purchased the land and signed our contract on
the spot. We are very pleased that we did and have no regrets.
During the design and building process, Grahame and Thai Country Homes were
easy to communicate with from overseas. Any time that changes or upgrades
to the original design plans were needed, Thai Country Homes were very
flexible and easy to work with. Our home was truly bespoken, both interior
and exterior and the end product was perfect.
Since moving in we’ve had only a few minor snags that were immediately
addressed and resolved. This is to be expected when building any new home no
matter which country you live in. These minor snags were far less than what
we expected due to the number of changes and special requests that we had
during the building process. We were highly impressed with the overall build
and attention to detail of the final product that was delivered.
Overall, the community living at Baan Phu Thara is very friendly, warm and
everyone knows each other very well. It’s a wonderful secured community
where you know your neighbors and can have a drink with them at the end of
the work week.
What more could you ask for in life? A tropical paradise with friends,
friendly neighbors and a wonderful home to raise a family.

From the start of our purchase, we found the sales, architectural & building teams proactive & helpful at each stage of the construction, which went as planned.
We were fortunate to have regular site visits by family members who own a construction/building company. They informed us that the TCH construction team & materials used were of a high standard, which of course was comforting for us to hear as we were living in the UK for most of the construction period of our new home.
In the 1st year since moving in we have had some ‘snagging’ to deal with (nothing major) which we anticipated. It has/is being addressed & at no cost to ourselves.
We like the team here, they listen, respond & have been proactive to any queries that we may have.
